Most woman, including me want to get rid or at least lessen the amazon jungle down there. Bikini wax is the best solution for it. It’s clean, fast, and smooth on skin, although it’s a little painful compared to shaving. How bout when you’re pregnant, is it save to get bikini wax during pregnancy?
Our belly is getting bigger, the skin stretches. Some stretch marks appear to some women. Those who are used with bikini wax might not have second thought about getting it done during pregnancy. Well, yes, you still can have bikini wax, but you have to bear with the pain. It’s so much more painful than when you’re not pregnant. Every woman has different level of sensitivity. The after wax will leave your skin red and some might break the blood vessel.
I would recommend you to wait until you give birth to have a bikini wax. But if you couldn’t wait, use the hardwax. It’s less painful than the regular wax.
My own experience:
I wanted to get a bikini wax during pregnancy. Well, like any other woman, I like to have it clean and neat. I asked around. It’s okay to have one but you just need to bear the pain, which is probably 50 times more painful than the usual one. I’m sure you still want to have a nice smooth skin even after giving birth. So, I think it’s better to do it after childbirth. Some women might have scars from bikini wax from the broken blood vessel. Be smart, ladies

The reality is between 75 to 90 percent of all pregnant women develop stretch marks during pregnancy. Generally, stretch marks appear in buttocks and stomach area, however stretch marks also can show up on other areas that tend to get larger during pregnancy such as the upper thighs, breasts and even arms All of this depends on the amount of weight gain, your genetic history, and whether or not you make a concerted effort to prevent stretch marks.
So what can you do to beat the odds and prevent stretch marks? Below are some simple stuff that you can do to prevent ugly stretch marks!
- Eat a healthy. Consume balanced diet that keeps your weight gain within range of 25 to 35 pounds. Aim for a controlled and steady weight gain, without any wild upward swings, will let your skin stretch at a steady rate.
- Drink plenty of water. Hydration is important for your health and healthy skin.
- Take your vitamins. This is to ensure proper nutritional status for your healthy skin.
- Keep skin moisturized. These moisturizers will help keep your skin supple and elastic plus serve as “food” for your skin. The various vitamins and oils used to create these formulas are designed to help enhance collagen production and support the dermis, to keep skin intact despite the rigorous stretching.
Remember, post delivery period is important as well. The dramatic weight loss makes your skin vulnerable to stretch marks once again. In addition, you certainly need to keep your whole body strong to cope with the stresses of recovery from childbirth and the demanding duties of motherhood.
If you do follow all of these guidelines yet still develop stretch marks, don’t worry. With time, stretch marks will fade to small silvery lines, and become much less noticeable.
